Certificate or Print Results Screen - Quizmaker 13

Jun 17, 2014

I am trying to find a way to rewrite the HTML of the printable results page so it can be a certificate or simply just print the passing feedback results screen as an option for users.

I have already seen the link to the how to modify the report.html file, but it is for Quizmaker 09 (even though it says 13).  So it only ends up showing your images when you are finished and not the actually data.  I am sure I could figure out the right combinations if I had all the time in the world but I don't.

I know that LOTS of people have asked for the Certificate option from Articulate without any success over the years, so I am hoping that someone out there might have some thoughts to help me...however I am not really holding my breath because I just spent 4 hours going through these posts and no one has had the answer for anyone else.

I absolutely detest the results page as it is now.  It is very ugly to look at and provides WAY to much information to the end user.  Our LMS screws up a lot though and being able to print a certificate would make things so much easier for our users when things don't show up in the system properly.

And I really do not want to import these quizzes into another program.  I have a lot of them to create in a very short time span.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have the same issue. We have a customer facing training and as it stands right now, when they finish they email me for a certificate of completion. I don't have time to keep up with this and would like to offer the ability to print a certificate. The Results print out is ugly and unprofessional.  Anyone have any work-around?

I managed to change the report file in Quizmaker13 in Notepad with my limited knowledge. It prints with the words "Certificate of Completion", a back ground image which I changed for the upload and no quiz questions. You can change the image to what ever you want just remember to change the file name in the report.HTML file at the bottom to link to the new file name. If you don't want the background image just delete the line,

"background-image:urlquizimages/Australia.jpg);" in the same area you find the report.HTML file. If you want an image you have to create a folder called "quizimages" in the same area as the report.HTML (that's how I did it) and inside that folder put your picture file in there. If it matters I published my quiz as a CD output because it I only use it locally and it has less conflicts with our network security protocols but should work for other publications. You can see in the report.HTML file where I hide the quiz questions etc with "//" in front of some lines. Again I am no IT expert. Hope this helps.
