Changed capability of new release

Nov 27, 2013

Hi, we built some Presenter courses with  quizzes in the past version of Studio.  We had it set up to make the students go back to screen one, of the course, if they failed the quiz.  They could then go back to the quiz and change some of the answers to get 80% passing score and finish the course. Now with Studio 13, we can only set it to make them go back to the beginning of the quiz, not the course. Is there anyway around this change in functionality?

For this quiz, when a user fails and clicks Finish, theyare directed back to the first content slide to review content before retryingthe quiz. This was accomplished in Quizmaker '09 by removing the Resume optionin the Quizmaker Player Template (http://www.articulate.com/support/quizmaker-09/allow-a-quiz-to-be-attempted-a-specific-number-of-times-in-presenter).With Quizmaker '13, the answers are retained in the quiz, even when Resume hasbeen set to Never Resume (http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/changing-the-player-s-resume-behavior-in-articulate-quizmaker.aspx).We activated the Retry Quiz (http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/editing-the-result-slide.aspx)but would prefer that users review content before re-attempting the quiz. Wewere able to accomplish this by clicking the Refresh button on our browser butthis is not a very elegant solution.

Joshua, to follow-up on this, currently in Quizmaker '13 the way this works is that once a quiz has been completed, the only way to retake the quiz is to enable the the retry quiz button. As you mentioned refreshing is an option but that resets everything in the course and not just the quiz so be sure to consider that too.

If you'd like, I think this would make a great feature request.
