Confidence Based Questions
Apr 04, 2013
I would like to create case based, multiple choice questions where there is the ability to rate how confident a user is with their response out of 100. My thought is to have sliders that would adjust to rate how confident one is with their answer. So if the question had 4 options and someone was 70% confident the answer was B, then the sliders for A,C & D would move down to 10%. The final analysis would be show statements such as "For questions where you were 80+% confident, 8 out of 10 were correct. I have been trying to find a way of making Storyline do this but am having no luck. Does anybody know how to do this or perhaps another way/program that may be able to?

Hey Marcel!
See if this older thread gives you some ideas to get started.
Good luck
Thanks for that. Was the functionality built in Storyline as David Anderson suggested in his post that it would? The other suggestions on the thread aren't quite what I was looking for.
Hi Marcel,
There isn't a built-in feature with sliders in Storyline, so it may be a tedious task to create it manually, but it might be worth giving David a shout to see how his project turned out. He's been known to work some course-building magic
Good luck!
