Customize inner quizmaker screen

Nov 01, 2012

I have been reading old posts and viewing screeners, but I have not been able to find how to change 3 three specific areas of a quizmaker screen (image attached):

1.     Change select button fill color from blue to red

2.     Change highlight box when you scroll over an answer select from blue to grey

3.     Change inner background from white to grayish/blue  to all white

Thank you fro any help you can provide.

Hi there Cheryl!

Yes! You can customize all of these aspects of a quiz in Quizmaker.

The first thing you'll want to change is the inner background. Open your quiz and switch to "Slide View". From here, you can select one of the many appealing themes. The theme I suggest for you is "Dark" as it has a nice, gray background. You can change the background options by clicking on "Background Styles", as well.

The most difficult color you want to change is the answer highlight color (the one that you'd like to change from blue to gray). First, make sure you're still in "Slide View". Also make sure you're still on the tab for "Design". There will be an option in the "Themes" menu called "Colors". There will be a lot of color sets here. I noticed you want to use a lot of red, so I would suggest looking for a palette that goes along with that them. However, if you're more concerned with the highlight color, pick a gray theme, because you'll be able to choose the other colors later.

So, for example:

You want to change the question highlight color to gray. On the list of presets, I would choose the one labeled "Grayscale". Once you preview, you'll see that the highlight color is now a light gray.

Now, lets look at the other option. Keep the current grayscale setting and go back to the color menu. Click on that menu and then click on the very last option "Create New Theme Colors".

To change the color fill for the buttons to red, edit the last option "Control 1".

Here's what I created:

Thanks!

Have a great day,

Christine
