Daisy Chaining Articulate Quizzes
Nov 15, 2011
So I'm a little new to Articulate Quizmaker, but being fairly experienced in Captivate, I figured daisy chaining quizzes together would be a snap. Unfortunately, I'm having some issues with linking files together once deployed to our servers.
I have three quizzes, and since each quiz needs its source files to run correctly, I'm not able to drop them into the same folder. So, I thought, let's make three separate folders, each with a corresponding quiz.swf and quiz content folder, and then launch the next quiz once you receive a passing result.
I'm currently using the Pass Result, launch a url or file to link to the next quiz in the chain. I've tried using
http://myserver.thefilehere.com/thefolderwiththenextquiz/quiz.swf and
../thefolderwiththenextquiz/quiz.swf
both to no avail.
A few notes:
I'm not getting a 404 Not Found -- at least then I'd know I was launching something. I'm literally getting nothing when I click Finish.
I'm not getting a 401 Permission -- again, I'd know I was launching something. Instead, just a click on the Finish button, and no action whatsoever.
Hopefully this will be enough information to get the Q&A started. Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Chris

Hey Chris,
Try using quiz.html instead of the .swf file in your url. Let us know if that does it...
I forgot to reply to this a few years back, but this was successful!
Thanks for the update Chris :)
