Drop down quiz - same answer, different choices

I'm trying to figure out how make a drop-down quiz where the same answer is correct for multiple choices

So something like: 

"Match the last name in column A with the first name in column B:

Obama ============= Barack

Powell==============Jim

Jones==============Jim

How do I know in the quiz which jim the student is going to use?  If it's the wrong Jim the question is wrong... at least that's the way it seems to work.  How is this supposed to work where you have, say, Yes/No answers for multiple choices?
