Exit button in a Quiz

I want to add an exit button to my quiz.

Why is there no option to show an exit button in the player for Quizmaker ?

I don't want add the quiz to presentation.  Would be great to author in Quizmaker and publish. When I do this there is no exit button or option to add one.

How is a learner meant to exit the quiz ?  

I dont really want to have to create a custom player with an exit button. 

Perhaps I could create a shape that had a hyperlink that would close the course? It could then feature on every page as an exit button.
