I have a FAQ interaction with no introduction, and I'd like the screen to open with none of the interactions open as the audio introduces the screen. But right now, the first question opens automatically. Any settings to stop that?
Hi, Carrie -- Thanks for reaching out! Would it be possible for you to share your file so we can take a closer look? Here is the form you'll need if you choose to share privately. :)
Christie, I just realized I placed this in the wrong section....this is an interaction in Engage...shall I send it here for you to get to the correct place?
Hi, Carrie -- That's no problem, but if you'd like to edit your post title to read 'FAQs in Engage '13' that might be helpful and you would only need to use the EDIT button beneath your post to rename it. And, are you using a standalone Engage interaction, or it is being used in a PPTX and then being published with Presenter? If you could, please follow the steps here to create an Articulate Package, and send that along via this form -- I will gladly look into this further!
I was in the midst of sending the presenter package when the tech arrived to change my internet supplier so it'll be a while!?
but in the meantime, yes, it's an engage interaction in pptx that's then published with presenter. When I preview in Engage, it works as I want...screen opens with nothing chosen. But in presenter when that screen opens, the first FAQ is automatically open.
Hi, Carrie -- Thanks for the head's up and I just wanted to confirm that your case #00777105 has been received in our system! I will take a look as soon as possible and will reply via email from within your case with my findings. Your patience is appreciated! :)
UPDATE here for anyone who may be wondering as to the resolution on Carrie's issue... The latest from her case is as follows:
"I have reviewed your file and I was able to confirm that audio overlapped on slide 2 where the Engage interaction was placed.
To fix the issue, I recommend that you insert a new question to serve as an "introduction" for the Engage FAQ. Don't insert any audio for this new question. Place it as the first question on the interaction. This will allow you to avoid the overlapping audio.and show the text above when the slide initially appears."
Hope that helps anyone who encounters this post in the future seeking assistance!
