Is is possible to provide custom feedback in multiple-choice questions? If someone selects an incorrect option, can they be told exactly 'why' they have chosen wrongly?

I see that whole numbers only are possible - can you also award 0.5 points - this is important to me.
Depending on the question type you can offer feedback by choice as detailed here.
This option is only available for some question types, such as Multiple Choice, Word Bank, Pick One, Which Word, Freeform Pick One, and Freeform Hotspot.
You'll then be able to customize what that says exactly based on their choice.
In regards to scoring, there is no partial scoring or partially correct answers.
