Feedback box remains on screen in Essay-style quiz in LMS

I have a problem with the Feedback box remaining open on screen in the LMS.

The user clicks Finish and moves on to the next slide without any
problem. The problem arises if the user decides to review or
return to the slide as they'll find Feedback box is on the screen and ‘open’
on top of the Submit box .
(The only change made to the standard Essay quiz was removing the 'Retry Quiz' button.)
When played locally the Feeback box closes, the problem only occurs in the LMS (Moodle). Any suggestions?

Hi Grace,
I apologize for the issues that you're having. Can you post a screenshot of the issue?
Hi Brian,
I'll attach a screenshot of a Feedback box open on top of the Submit box when the user returns to the slide.

Hi Grace,
Since you don't have a result slide and the resume feature is enabled on the quiz, the final feedback box is displaying. You can resolve the issue by enabling the result slide.
Thanks Brian. Got some more questions however. I don't want a Result slide (because it's an 'essay' or reflection slide and not a true 'quiz') so if I enable the Result slide won't it display? I don't want to grade or mark their thoughts or reflections at this point.
I just tried something else out, do you think this will work consistently? I selected the Knowledge Check Template setting and disabled Feedback Settings. Now about to test it in the LMS.
Hi Grace,
Yes, the result slide will appear. However, you can customize it completely by going into the slide view. This will allow you to delete all of the scoring data & just replace it with a simple "Thank you" message:
