Feedback is only offerin "Try Again" button vs. Next Question

Nov 08, 2012

Good afternoon everyone!

I am new to Articulate, but amazed how easy it can be to build an exciting course.  However, I have run into an issue with quizmaker.  I'm sure this is an easy fix, but my quiz is only allowing me to have the "Try Again" button on the feedback of an individual question.  In other words it is forcing a correct answer.

It's a nice option to have, but I don't want it for this scenario.

Hi Rob! Welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

The first thing I would check is the amount of attempts allowed for the question. Open the question and make sure you're in "Form View". In the "Scoring" section, you can see the amount of attempts allowed for that question. Make sure this is not set to "Unlimited".

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks!

Yes, I had already checked that and it is set to unlimited.

Hi Ron,

You want to change that so it is not set to "Unlimited". Change the option to "1" or how ever many times you want to limit the question. If it's unlimited, the user will have to see the "Try Again" over and over, until they get it right. If it's set to a number, they'll try it that many times and then be able to continue, no matter what the response is.
