Finish button will not work for some users

I have a quiz that, at its conclusion, the user must click the "Finish" button.  This activates a URL to a PHP script that gives them credit for having watched the course in a database.

I am finding a small number of people for whom the "Finish" button is dead... they click on it and nothing happens. It seems to be a small amount, but one common denominator is they seem to be using Windows 8.  Is anybody else running into this situation and/or have a fix?

Has this compatibility issue been verified? We have a number of users recently who are experiencing this problem.

If we tell them to use Chrome or Firefox, might it solve a large percentage of the issues? (We don't have a particularly tech savvy audience, so I don't want to get too complicated on them.)

Or, I'd be happy to upload and send in one of the files.
