I am using Quizmaker 13 and when I publish the test (or preview it during development) the font in the feedback slots is unreadable. It is tiny. I cannot seem to figure out how to change the font size. I have attached a screen shot so you can see what i mean.
The size of the text box for the feedback can be modified in the Feedback Master view. In fact, you can completely customize the feedback template to accommodate a large amount of text. You can remove the box that the current text box resides on and create your own or do whatever you want. That's a great new feature in Quizmaker '13 we didn't have in '09.
I am having the same problem unfortunately. I have seen the Feedback master and the ability to move the boxes etc., but how do you change the actual size of the font? So far i am seeing various font options, but altering the size is not one of them. Please help.
When you're in the Feedback Master, you can click in any text box and update the text as normal - change the color, font, size, etc. When you highlight the text, a small box will appear just above the text that allows you to change the font and size as in the image below:
Can you tell us a bit more about what steps you've taken and what results you're seeing? Did you review this tutorial that Justin previously linked to? Additionally, if you have lengthy text included in your Feedback master, it's dealt with a bit differently from Quizmaker 09 to Quizmaker 13 and you can choose to add in a scrolling panel to make it easier to see.
The Scroll bar should be standard in every answer field. Almost every single one of our answer keys had the font minimized upon migration from Quizmaker '09, and we do not have the man-power to change the font and and add scroll bars to 15,000+ answer keys.
The fact that it has to be added to each answer key individually is the reason that we have had to stay with Quizmaker '09 :-(
Wow, the amount of time I am spending on just trying to change my font size in the feedback master is crazy. What am I missing? I have added a scroll bar to no success. This seems like it should be such an easy task.
I followed the steps once again and the step I missed after I inserted the scroll bar was to "Enlarge the feedback text box to increase the font size", which seems odd but it worked. Thanks. I hope Articulate comes out with an easier way to modify the size of the font. :)
I know this is an older thread but I was wondering if anyone has found a workaround to adding the scroll bar to longer feedbacks from old '09 quizzes? We also have a lot of longer feedbacks which would have to be individually adjusted.
Can anyone tell me how to make the grey area within a feedback 'layout' larger? I can only make the grey area within the feedback 'slide master' bigger. doing that makes all the layouts the size that I customized to. I only want to make the 'correct' layout larger, not the incorrects and try again layouts.
Hi Shelly! You could create another feedback master to allow you to customize a different 'correct' layer as you mention. The layouts take the characteristics of the parent, and that's what you ran into. Then you can apply the applicable layers where you need it.
Any idea why I wouldn't see a Feedback Master option? I only see slide master. I also don't have an insert layout option. I'm working directly in Quizmaker, creating a new quiz from scratch.
Please be sure that you are working locally on both your software and your project files and you may need to conduct a repair if you are having issues with the software.
Hi Angie! Looks like you may be replying via e-mail and I cannot see the image you are sharing with me. Could you pop in and re-share via the Reply box in the forums.
Thanks Angie for that image - and it still does not look the same as my set up of Quizmaker. Just to confirm you're using Quizmaker '13 Update 6? It looks like you're on an individual slide, perhaps with a shape inserted while viewing that particular section? I've been trying to see if there was a way to replicate what you're seeing, and so far I can always see the "feedback master" button.

Hi! I have tried to do as suggested with font size. No result afterwords. How come?
I have done all above, but still unable to se my feedback text enlarge when testing.
Hi Cato and welcome to Heroes!

Hi Janelle,
This thread is a bit older - but are you following the steps here to adjust the font size and insert the scrolling bar within Quizmaker '13?
Hi Ashley...
I followed the steps once again and the step I missed after I inserted the scroll bar was to "Enlarge the feedback text box to increase the font size", which seems odd but it worked. Thanks. I hope Articulate comes out with an easier way to modify the size of the font. :)
Hi Janelle,
I'm glad you were able to go through those steps and get it working. Thanks for the update. :-)
Hi,
I know this is an older thread but I was wondering if anyone has found a workaround to adding the scroll bar to longer feedbacks from old '09 quizzes? We also have a lot of longer feedbacks which would have to be individually adjusted.
http://en-uk.articulate.com/support/quizmaker-13/adjusting-lengthy-feedback-text-after-upgrading-to-articulate-quizmaker-13 says the scrolling panel doesn't work in Feedback Masters, so importing questions into a new quiz with a 'scrolling panel layer' and selecting that for the longer feedbacks wouldn't work?
Any tips appreciated! Thanks!
Hi Louise!
I'm unaware if any users have come up with a workaround, but you are correct, it would need to be on the individual questions.
Hopefully someone in the community will pop in to assist if able :)

Hi Angie!
You do not see this:

Nope. I don't get that option at all.

I'm working locally.
It's a brand new quiz.

Did you repair your software?
I repaired my software but still don't have a feedback master.

It may be easiest to continue working on this with our support team so that we can take a deeper look at your set up and the behavior.
