Freeform Drag and Drop images disapear when previewed/published in Presenter

Feb 08, 2016

Hi I'm trying to create a simple free form drag and drop activity in Quizmaker 13. Previewed from Quizmaker it works fine. But when published to presenter the images disappear. Can any one suggest a solution.

Hi, Keith -- So sorry for your troubles! May I ask if you are testing your published output in the environment where it will ultimately be access, and are you seeing the same behavior there? If issues persist, you may want to to take a look at this information on Unexpected or Erratic Behavior in Quizmaker '13, as well.

If you'd like, you are welcome to share your file and I will be happy to take a closer look. :)

Hi Christie

Thanks very much for your reply and suggestions on how to fix the problem. I have tried launching the published output to the Articulate Tempshare website, but with the same result. I have also reinstalled the studio'13 software as per the 'Unexpected or erratic behavior in Quizmaker '13' instructions, but the same problem persists.

I have attached the relevant files, so if you could have a look and see what the problem is I would be very grateful.

Best regards

Keith

Hi, Keith -- My apologies for not being more clear, but I will need you to follow the steps outlined here to create an Articulate Package (rather than the published output). The rationale in the article is provided below. :)

Sharing your project with another developer
After creating an Articulate Package, send the resulting zip file to another developer through your preferred delivery method (email, external drive, network drive, etc.). The developer who receives it should save it to their local hard drive and fully extract it before opening the presentation.

Keith, as you described, I wanted to share that I experienced the same behavior when I published and tested your output as seen here on tempshare.articulate.com.

As I am not certain where the root of the issue lies, I will pass your file on to our Support Engineers, and they will be in touch via the email address we have on file for you just as soon as possible. Many thanks for your continued patience as we work through this issue!

Hi Christie

Problem solved by your excellent support team. It turns out the issue is the Drag items are being hidden behind the blue rectangle (shape) that you have placed as a border behind the Drag items. I

So all is good now.

Many thanks for your support and the support of the engineers at Articulate. brilliant!

Best regards
