Freeform drag and drop scoring

Apr 05, 2018

I am creating a free form drag and drop quiz with symbols that have to be dropped on hot spots of the correct "definition". I would like the learner to get one point for the correct answer and -1 point for an incorrect answer. There are 19 possible points, but I would also like to set it up that the learner only needs to get 10 points to move on to the next slide. I have created an adjust variable trigger to add a point when the object is dropped on the correct hot spot, and another one to subtract a point when the object is dropped on an incorrect hot spot. I have a couple questions:

Is it possible to lock the symbol in place once it is on the correct spot and assign 1 point regardless of how many times it was dropped incorrectly ( 5 incorrect drops would equal -5 points, but once dropped on correct answer points would equal 1)?

Can you make it so that you only get -1 point no matter how many incorrect spots the symbol is dropped on?
