Help - Quizmaker Problems

Thanks - sounds like that will resolve the preview problem. Any thoughts about Quizmaker itself not loading all of a sudden? It worked fine until yesterday afternoon!

I'm actually thinking it may assist with both issues. Just let me know if you are still having difficulty.

Adobe and Microsoft released information that Windows 7, Vista and Windows 10 have been updated. 

Follow the directions in the link above for your version of Windows to check for and install the latest updates. 

We're waiting for additional information in regards to Windows 8.

I'm also having issues with attempting to update a Quizmaker 13 file that is part of a Presenter 13 file.  The slide presents the quiz simply as a graphics, not as the quiz, so I can't edit it from Presenter. 

To try to get the quiz back into the presentation after updated manually from Quizmaker, I've tried each of the following methods, without success:

1. Insert the existing quiz from Presenter/PP and navigate to the folder where the quiz is located. This only allows me to search for engage interactions, quiz files are not an option.

2. Attempt to make a new quiz (planning to import the slides from the existing quiz). When I try to make a new quiz from Presenter/PP the box pops up, but only with Engage as an option. 

3. Open the existing quiz in Quizmaker 13 and publish to the active Presenter file.  This appears to work, but doesn't actually insert the updated quiz.  (A new blank slide is added to the end of the presentation in the process, but it has no content at all.)

When I preview the "quiz" slides, the old quizzes do play.  But I need to update the content.

Do you have any other ideas?  I have the quizzes.  I have the presenter file.

Hi, Joyce -- Sorry sorry to hear of your difficulties! Have you had an opportunity to review this information on Unexpected or Erratic Behavior in Studio '13? You may want to run through the repair steps listed and let us know if you find improvement. And if issues persist, it may be helpful to review this information in case you are being affected by file corruption.

Thank you.  We did all of the other steps suggested in Christie's message and got it to work.  We'll see what happens when the next Flash version rolls out.
