Hotspots not working with HTML 5

I'm having problems with a course using hotspots when published to HTML5 .
Thinking maybe there's something about this course that's causing the issue, I created a simple quiz using nothing but hotspots and published to Scorm Cloud.
Using the Google Chrome browser with Flash disabled, none of my hotspots register as correct. Enabling Flash with Chrome, it works perfectly. So what's going on here?
I published my simple test quiz to Scorm Cloud for anyone to test, https://cloud.scorm.com/sc/InvitationConfirmEmail?publicInvitationId=c6446dfc-2d19-46c5-8e9e-8c548b414453
If you'd like to test locally or look at the source files, I attached the files here.
Thanks for your help!

Hi Paul,
Thanks for sharing the link and a copy of your project file here. It seems similar to an issue reported to our team in regards to the hotspot quizzes being scored incorrectly within the HTML5 output only when the Quiz slide as a custom slide size that is different than your Presenter slide size. They're investigating the issue but in the meantime, a workaround is to use the following Quiz size depending on the slide size used in Presenter '13/PowerPoint:
1) Presentation Slide 4:3 = Quiz Size 720 x 540 (4:3)
2) Presentation Slide 16:9 = Quiz Size 720 x 405 (16:9)
Let us know if you have any questions and I'll also include this thread in the report filed with our QA team.
Thank you Ashley! That appears to be the problem.
Glad we were able to at least come to that conclusion - and I'll keep you posted here if there is any additional update or information to share. Hopefully you're able to use the workarounds in the meantime.
Hello, was this fixed in the 360 version of Presenter?
We just discovered this issue in a course we published over a year ago using Studio 13 because it was the first time someone accessed the course without Flash. The attached screenshot shows the user being marked incorrect when he should have been marked correct.
Hi there Susan, sorry to hear you've encountered this issue with your hotspot quiz. The issue mentioned above relates to quizzes being scored incorrectly within the HTML5 output only when the Quiz slide as a custom slide size that is different than your Presenter slide size. Can you share with me your Quiz slide size and your Presenter slide size?
Also, would you mind sharing your Presenter package with me so I can take a closer look? Here are instructions on how to create a Presenter package. If you would rather share it privately, you can send it along to our Support Engineers here. They’re accessible 24/7 and if you want to let me know the case number I can follow along.
Hi Alyssa,
The presentation is 16:9 aspect ratio with slides containing Quizmaker quizzes at custom size (1024 x 768) on so that seems to be the issue – what I was wondering is if the bug had been fixed such that republishing the course in Studio 360 would be enough to correct it, or if I would still need to go in and fix the quiz sizes manually.
Thanks,
Sue
Hi Susan, thanks for clarifying that. I just tested this issue in Storyline 360 by upgrading a project created in Studio 13 (in this project, the Quizmaker size is smaller than the Presenter size), and it seems that the issue is resolved. I would try republishing your project to Storyline 360 to see if it works for you, as well. I would be happy to assist with that testing, if you want to attach your Articulate package here!
Thanks, will do :)
Sue

I ran into this same problem. Hotspots were working correctly in Preview, but in the published version (any browser) was always incorrect. I was using a custom-sized PowerPoint, so I changed the PowerPoint to 4:3 and Quizmaker to 720 x 540 as mentioned above. Now, some are correct and others are not.
I've got several small quizzes throughout, but I have attached one quiz with two hotspot questions, one comes up as correct and the other incorrect when the correct answer is put in.
Is there another setting that I could be missing?
Hey Steve,
You mentioned the issue popped up when you tested the published version in any browser. Where is the published content hosted – a web server or a learning management system?
Also, do you have any browser zoom enabled in your web browser?
Right now, it is just playing from the published files on My Computer. (Right after you publish, the View option, then copy/pasting that link into different browsers to make sure that it wasn't just the browser.)
I'm not sure if I have browser zoom enabled...how would I see that?
Hi Steve,
I'd recommend uploading the content to the final environment to properly test all features of playback. If you're not ready to add it to your own Learning Management System (LMS) or webserver, there are a few options you could use outlined here.
As for browser zoom - each browser may have this in a separate location, but here's what it looks like for me in Chrome:
