PS: sorry the subject should be "How to capture input FROM learners"
Dear Community,
I've been trying to figure out a way to capture text entered by particpants in the e-learning module and gather the results on one slide at a certain point.
I tried to create short answer quizzes and essays but I need your help in figuring out how I can make the answers they've input appear on another slide later in the learning module.
Someone succeeded on www.enterprisingyou.co.uk
He aced it but I still don't know how!

Hi Jad,
Out of the box, you can't use answers from previous questions in future questions. However, would the solution in the link below work for you?

Thanks Brian, it seems it does the work, though I'll show it to an action script expert coz I'm just a GUI person, don't know anything about the scripts in the background. But does it include capturing answers entered into several surveys or graded quizzes then I can use your recommendation to gather several answers on a slide of my choice?
Thanks Brian again.
Hi Jad,
Unfortunately, since the workaround is third party, I haven't actually tested it. I'll contact the developer and see if he will respond here.
Thanks Brian.
Anxiously awaiting your answer.
Hi Jad,
The example on my blog is really just a generic one to demonstrate the principle. And it uses our own input boxes.
What you want to do should be possible but would require some development time.
Contact directly (PM) if you would like a quote.
Thanks

Hi James and all
Do you know if this feature is available on Storyline (minus the need for code)?
Or do I still need codes like what Brian's link above have shown?
Cheers,
Huiwan
Huiwan,
This functionality is built right into Storyline! You won't use 'code' but you will have triggers and variables.
