How to change button in feedback popup

Jan 23, 2012

I've created a graded quiz question where user will have 3 answer attempts. If they still can't get the correct answer after the third attempt, they will be branched to a slide where the correct answer is provided.

The problem I have is that in the "Incorrect" popup box, the button says "Next Question" - clicking on this will take user to the correct answer slide. How do I change this button to say "View Correct Answer?"

Thanks for your help.

Hello Nhu - the text you're seeing on that button is part of your project's Text Labels, and you can customize it to say whatever you like. However, you might want to use more generic language (rather than "View Correct Answer"), because the text will be used on the pop-up for both the incorrect and correct feedback. You could use something simple such as "Continue" on the button, since that would work in either situation.

Here's how you can change the text:

  1. Open your quiz in Quizmaker.
  2. Click Player Templates > Edit > Text Labels.
  3. Scroll down to item 37 and enter whatever you like in the Custom Text column.
