Intersperse Quiz Questions Throughout Powerpoint Training

May 07, 2012

Is it possible to intersperse quiz questions throughout a training presentation and have all of the questions graded together at the end rather than each time they appear?

Welcome to Heroes, Marilyn!

Unfortunately, that's not something that's possible with the current version of Presenter. If you'd like to see it in future versions, please feel free to submit a feature request

However, if you're interested in tracking multiple quizzes throughout your course, you may be interested in these unsupported workarounds to accomplish that.

Hello!

I just sent in a feature request for this as well.  Allowing the course creators the ability to place quiz questions throughout the presentation (rather than all in one lump, in one location).  This would allow for much higher learner retention... if we had the ability to place a quiz question immediately after a content slide and the leaner answers the question incorrectly, they could have the option to return to the previous slide, re-read the content, and then re-attemp the question.  Also works very well for learner motivation to carry on through a particularly long presentation by capturing their attention with strategically placed questions

Hopefully this is something that is included in the next version!! Have a fantastic day :-)

Sometimes what folks do is create their entire course right in Quizmaker. You can create content slides (in Quizmaker they're called blank slides), in between the quiz questions, complete with audio, animations, movies, etc. if you want. So in effect, you're kind of creating the illusion that there are multiple different assessments or questions throughout the course.  At the end the result slide will report the results for all questions throughout the entire quiz.
