Is QuizMaker enabled in all users of a subscription?

Mar 19, 2021

Hi community,

We recently started considering QuizMaker for our assessment needs, and realized some members of the team, who share the same subscription, do not have QuizMaker enabled. Is this something we need to request?

In my case, I do have it, but a couple team mates don't. Thank you!

Hello Emilia!

Great question! Yes, Quizmaker 360 is included in all Articulate 360 subscriptions. You can find Quizmaker 360 on the Articulate 360 desktop app under Studio 360. When selecting Open next to Studio 360, a context menu will show up with Presenter 360, Quizmaker 360, and Engage 360.

Here's a screenshot of what this looks like in the Articulate 360 desktop app.

Please let me know if your teammates still don't see Quizmaker 360.

Hi there, sorry to jump in on this, but I'm curious to know the difference (and benefit) of creating an assessment using Quizmaker, instead of building in Storyline? Is there a difference, are there benefits, and if so, what are they please? I have tried searching in the community, but can't find anything concrete....  would it look and work like a Storyline file? Presumably you can set passmarks/attemps on it as per normal? Thanks in advance!

Hello Anna,

Thanks for reaching out!

The main benefit of creating quizzes in Quizmaker 360 is convenience. It is marginally faster to create quizzes in Quizmaker 360 compared to Storyline 360, but Storyline 360 has more to offer in terms of customization and available features.

While Quizmaker 360 can create traditional quizzes, Storyline 360 takes it up a notch by allowing you to add triggers and animations to make the quizzes come alive. I'd like to point out that Studio 360, which includes Presenter 360, will no longer be receiving any new features, unlike Storyline 360 which is continuously being developed.

You also do not have to choose between both, as any quiz developed in Quizmaker 360 can be imported into Storyline 360, so feel free to give the two a try!

Hi Joe, thanks so much for the reply :).  That makes sense, I have just never used this function before, so checking out options... on the subject of quizzing, are there plans to enhance the 'quiz' blocks in Rise? For example the drag and drop block interaction is great, but obviously sits outside the quiz function, but would add an extra bit of interactivity to the 4 current options. Thanks so much!

Hi Anna,

You are most welcome. Rise 360 already has a Matching quiz option available, but we do have a feature request open to add Images or Pictures to Sorting Activity to the interaction to make it look closer to its Storyline 360 counterpart.

We'll let you know as soon as this feature makes it to Rise 360's roadmap!
