I selected ‘Just one attempt’ in a Articulate Quizmaker file and loaded this into the Cornerstone OnDemand system. However, I am able to launch and attempt the quiz multiple times.Could you please provide suggestions on how to restrict this to one attempt only?I am using Microsoft Powerpoint version 14.0.6129.5000.
It sounds like you may be publishing a standalone quiz, instead of inserting the quiz into a Presenter presentation. Is that right?
The setting to limit the number of quiz attempts only applies within each launch of your Articulate Presenter course when a quiz is embedded in the course.
If, however, you are inserting the Quizmaker quiz into Presenter, you can limit the entire quiz from the settings within Presenter.
My quiz was embedded in an Articulate Presenter powerpoint, it was not published in a standalone quiz in Quizmaker. I also had selected “Just once” in “User may attempt quiz” in Quiz Properties.
Are you able to provide any further suggestions as we wish to eliminate the risk of users sharing the questions and answers with others who have not attempted the quiz, thanks.
Sounds like you have everything set up properly. You shouldn'tbe able to attempt the quiz more than once, if you've specified that amount.
Curious if this has something to do with the project, or possibly the LMS. Have you tested your course in SCORM Cloud? This would help us determine if the issue is Articulate related or if it's on your LMS's side. If you're using AICC content please take a look at the article below for testing information:
I took a look and from what I see in Jonathan's response, it looks like refreshing the course should work, or it may be a feature that an LMS would need to handle.
Were you able to find any additional information on your end after investigating?

If it appears in SCORM Cloud as well, we'd be happy to take a closer look at what might be going on.
If you can't replicate the issue in SCORM Cloud, it's probably an issue that you'd want to take to your LMS team.
The articles here and here may also help clear up common LMS issues.
Let us know how it turns out.
Thanks!
Hi Christine,
I truly appreciate your ongoing support.
The problem was replicated in SCORM Cloud and I'm not using AICC content.
I have submitted a Articulate Case, thankyou!
Hi Linna,
If you could share the case number with me, I'd appreciate it.
Hope you're having a great Friday :)
Thanks!
Hi Christine,
It was case #00339148.
We are now investigating on our end.
Thanks and hope you have a good Friday too!
Hi there Linna!
Thanks very much! :)
