Likert Scale Survey Question not displaying the scale properly

Aug 30, 2019

Hello! I have added a survey question to a Quizmaker 360 quiz and selected Likert scale as the question type. I have removed the scale property to "show numbers on  scale" and accepted the options presented to me for the scale by Quizmaker 360 (Strongly Disagree, Disagree, Neutral, etc.). When looking at the slide in slide view or when previewing the slide, only the first and last options of the scale appear. I've attached a picture so you can see what I mean.

I have tried adjusting the size of the box displaying the scale choices but have no luck. I'd thought I would delete the box and just add some text boxes to define the scale, but Quizmaker will not allow me to delete the "Likert scale".

Any ideas how I can get this corrected?

Hi James,

When you remove the numbers, you'll only see the ends of the scale displayed due to overall sizing and keeping the header text inline with the buttons. When you hover over each of the buttons, that's where you'll see a pop-up indicating the additional text you've set up within the scale.

You can move the text box itself offscreen (or hide it behind another shape) but it can't be deleted entirely. Either option would allow you to add in your own text if you'd like.

This setup is the same in Quizmaker and Storyline.
