Making the question block transparent
May 27, 2011
There have been some excellent explanations and tutorials of how to make the frame around the question box transparent (and I'm good with that) but how do you make the question box itself transparent? I have tried by going into the slide view in Quizmaker, right clicking on the screen, clicking on format background, choosing fill, and changing the transparency to 100%. Yet, after saving the quiz and returning to presenter and previewing the screen, I see a white box on top of my master slide. What should I do?

Hello Cynthia - do you mean the rectangle that contains the actual quiz content? There's not currently a feature in Quizmaker to make that part transparent - however, here's a workaround from Dave Burton that I bet would do exactly what you are looking for: http://www.builtbyburton.com/?p=653
I'll try it. Thank so much!
I needed to solve this for a project and came up with a solution that involves copying one file into my published course.
