I misspelled a word for my answer why preview a test, before hitting submit I saw my error but it will not let me backspace to correct. So this is going to be a incorrect answer. How can I make it to where the student can correct answer before hitting submit.
This has been a problem with edit fields and Articulate. Backspace doesn't seem to work in my case too (even when I updated Flash and installed the latest Articulate patch as suggested by tech support). The workaround: highlight the text using a mouse and Delete.
If you include questions in your quiz that require the user to enter text (Fill-in-the-Blank, Numeric, Short Answer, Essay, How Many) and if you publish your quiz for CD, you may find that the Backspace key does not function in the text entry fields.
This is a known issue. The workaround is to place the cursor before the text that needs to be deleted, and then use the Delete key to remove the character(s).
Also, be sure that you're actually publishing your quizzes and testing them in their final environment instead of just previewing them.
