I have a multiple response question. No matter what choice selections i click on the answers are incorrect. What can the problem be? I have selected the 3 correct answers on the quiz form. I'm new to this and just can't figure out where the problem may be. Can someone please help me?
Are you able to share a copy of your .quiz file? These are a bit easier to diagnose with the file in hand, as it's likely something in the specific set up. You can attach it here using the "add attachment" button.
I've just converted a Quizmaker 9 quiz to Quizmaker 13 and I have exactly the same problem with the multiple response questions. I see this question is 5 months old so I wonder if there was a resolution?
Hi there, Leigh. Sorry you've hit a bump! When those questions are shown as incorrect, where is that happening? During a preview in Quizmaker, or in the published output perhaps? Do you have other questions, and do you have the quiz set to submit all answers at once, or one at a time?
You're welcome to share your file(s) here with us for some testing if you'd like! You can always attach them privately in a case with our engineers, if you'd prefer, too.
I've attached the Quizmaker file but I have also tried building a quiz from scratch in Quizmaker 13 and I get the same result.
I've been able to identify a specific behavior. It doesn't seem to affect multiple choice questions just multiple response. I'm using the submit all at once which is our preference but if the questions submit individually it works fine. What happens is that the last multiple response question to be answered displays and records the correct result but any previously answered multiple responses will show and be recorded as incorrect regardless.
I'm using the HTML5 version of the output because my client (and myself) can't get Flash to work. Hopefully there is a fix, it sounds like a straightforward programming bug. If not I'm going to have to submit the questions individually.
That's great detail, Leigh; thank you. The good news is that this behavior is known to us and is a priority! We've scheduled a fix for it in the next update for Studio '13.
I don't have a release date to share, yet, but as soon as we do, we'll notify everyone impacted. I'm adding this discussion to the report, so stay tuned! If you're subscribed to this discussion, you'll get an email notification of any new posts here.
OK, I'm using 'Submit individually' for now. Please delete the quiz file I sent.
My client has just raised another issue, at the end of the quiz the 'Print Result' button doesn't work. I've checked and it doesn't work for me either. We are using the HTML5 version published for Web. Any advice would be helpful.
I know there was an option to email results in Studio 9 but I can't see that in 13. Has that been removed?
Our team can't delete just the file, only the whole post. If you'd like to delete the file you can visit this forum discussion page and use the "edit" button at the bottom of the reply to delete the attachment if you'd like it to not appear in the public forum.
As for the email results, we want every feature in our software to work well. Unfortunately, there’s no way to email results easily, accurately, and consistently. For example, if you use Gmail or your computer’s security settings are high, you can’t email results. Also, you run the risk of learners tampering with results since they can access the email before it’s sent. Given these limitations, we decided not to include the email results feature in our products anymore.
OK thanks. I only wondered about the email option to get around the print results issue. In the meantime I found a discussion about it and I have republished for CD instead of Web so it will work locally. It works for me so hopefully my client as well.
Neither my client or myself can view the Flash output successfully, I imagine because we aren't using a web server? I can view Flash output that I post to my web space fine. Ultimately I think they will use one of the LMS options and so printing won't be an issue but they also want to have stand alone content. Hopefully the CD option will do that for them. I may need more help when they come to integrate with an LMS.

Hey Leigh. Just to address the Print Results issue; you can print results in the Flash output. HTML5 and Articulate Mobile Player do not support printing results. Thanks for hanging in there and being resourceful!

Hello everyone! I wanted to pop in and let you know that Studio '13, Update 9 was released today which addressed the following issue:
Fixed issue where correct responses would be scored incorrectly in HTML5 output when set to submit answers all at once
You can read all of the details in this documentation and download the latest update here.
