Multiple Slide Masters in Quizmaker '09

I am trying to add multiple slidemasters to a Quizmaker '09 project, after the questions are already done.  I did read one community posting about how to create a slidemaster, but  the instructions said to go to Slidemaster View and then the design tab to apply to a single slide-- or to all.  I do not have a design tab.  I have a much smaller Edit Theme tab that does not offer application of one of the slide masters to a single slide.  Instead, it applies the first slide master onto all slides.  Can you help?  I'm new to Articulate, so I'm sure I'm overlooking something!
