Need a confirmation dialog box for skipped questions

Hello AC.  I’ve got quite the puzzle on my hands.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My client needs a survey questionnaire that allows users to skip questions, but provides a confirmation dialog/feedback when they do; something along the lines of “Did you really want to skip this question?  Yes/No”

All of my questions are multiple choice.

One work-around I thought of was using quiz questions (instead of survey) and setting the questions as required.  With this, if they tried to skip the question they’d get the “Incorrect Answer” dialog box which I could customize with the confirmation message above.  Then, I could have as one of my multiple choice responses as “Skip this question.”  Not pretty but it would work.

However, this is an incomplete solution for me because many of my questions already max out the 10 choice limit of a Quizmaker multiple choice question.

Any ideas or Quizmaker features I’m missing?

Hi John,

After each quiz question I insert it into powerpoint, so that all of my quizzes are separate quizmaker files.  This makes things more manageable for me, and allows me to have non-quizmaker slides inbetween the quizmaker slides.

If you do this, you could have the settings for your quizmaker insertions to "allow user to leave quiz" "anytime."

You could then customize the dialogue box, as you suggested below, but then after seeing that the user would be able to utilize the player interface to proceed to the next slide.

Hope this helps,

Heidi
