No Retry Quiz button showing in Quizmaker '13

I am trying to allow my users to retake quizzes immediately after they fail. I create a presentation in Presenter, then add a quiz. I go to the Results button in Quizmaker and set the selection for "Unlimited" attempts. On the Results slide, the Retry Quiz button appears.
However, when I render the presentation, at the end of the quiz there is no option to retry the quiz. If I try to go back out of the quiz, then back in, it retains all of the prior answers. Even refreshing the screen does not help... the answers appear to be locked in. This is very frustrating and a major flaw in the functionality of the software. Hoping for a quick fix.

Follow up... if I preview the entire quiz in Quizmaker... same problem. No Retry Quiz option. If I preview only the Result slide... then I see the Retry Quiz button.
Hi Doug,
I'm not able to replicate this behavior in my own version of Presenter and Quizmaker 13. You'll see that when you set up the results slide, it looks as if the "Unlimited" attempts is set, but you'll also need to check the box to "Retry quiz" for the "Unlimited" attempts to be active:
If you're course is still not behaving as expected, are you able to create a Presenter package and share it with us here or send it along privately here.
I did check that box, but I learned what the issue is...
Your software only shows the user the "Retry Quiz" button when they pass. When they fail, the retry quiz button does not appear, even if I set retries to unlimited.
I created a workaround that was effective for me.
Hi Doug,
There are separate layers for Pass and Fail within Quizmaker, so you'd need to enable the "Retry" button on each layer to see it for both.
I'm glad that you were able to figure out an alternate solution for you as well.
Hi Doug,
I am also experiencing this issue. It's important that I keep the player set to "Prompt on Resume." Would you be willing to please share your workaround? Thank you!

Ashley

Hi John,
That's great! Glad to hear the suggestions in this thread were able to help you out :)
Ashley,
I'm not sure if Doug used an entirely different method than what Ashley mentioned. He may also not be subscribed to the thread. It may help to send him a private message to see if he can share some additional details with you.
Thanks!
Awesome solution, was having the same issue, NO LONGER!
Delighted to hear this older thread is still coming in handy, Mark! Thanks for the update! :)
It had me stumped as well. Thanks everyone!
Glad this older thread was able to assist you Kevin.
