Number of questions in a group Mar 19, 2012 By Rich R Does anyone have a rule of thumb on how many random questions should be in a group? For example, if you want a quiz of 10 random questions, how many total questions should you have in the pool? 15? 20?
Sarah Tinson 12 years ago03/19/12 at 1:06 pm (UTC) Hi Rich, We use this practice with all our courses, and generally, if we have 10 questions in a quiz then our question bank will contain 15 questions. That way, (theroretically, but not statistically I suppose!) the user could be presented with 50% new questions the next time they sit the quiz. Cheers, Sarah.
