Numbering of slides in quizmaker

Dec 12, 2017

Hi Everyone, There used to be a feature whereby slides in quizmaker were numbered so that a student could see how far they were through a quiz.  I have read other discussions from 4 years or more ago saying how useful it was.  The question list on longer tests tends to be distracting so I do not use it.  All of our tests are randomised so I can't number the questions.  I can't find slide numbering in 360 and wondered if it has or is likely to be reintroduced.

Regards

Colin

Hi Colin,

That feature was something in Quizmaker '09, but removed as a part of Quizmaker '13 and subsequently is also not included in Studio 360. The closest option would be to use the "Question List" in the player options. This will not number the questions, but it will give learners a better idea of where they are and how many questions there are in the quiz.

Another option would be to modify the name of the question to include a number. Of course, if you're randomizing questions, this probably won't work for your project.

If you'd like to see that in a future update, let our Product team know  right here. 😁
