When selecting the submit all at once option under the Template function, the buttons PREV and NEXT appear on every slide. It appears that this is an all or none feature. Is there a way to remove those buttons or one of the buttons from an individual slide. For example, remove it from an introduction/instruction slide that does not contain a question?
Within Quizmaker the "prev" and "next" buttons are built into the "submit all at once" option so that you can navigate through the quiz, so there isn't any way to remove them. Is your thought that you'd want the user to advance to the next slide from the intro based on time spent on the slide? You could always submit that as a feature request.
Thanks for responding. Our client does not want to see a "Prev" button on the intro slide because it only lists instructions and does not contain a question. They feel there is no need for the button to be on the first slide. Their rational makes sense.
Thanks Marcella, and I totally understand. Since you've set it up as "submit all at once" the navigation is not locked in a particular order allowing the user to jump around and go back to questions they may have missed. In Quizmaker there isn't a way to customize that aspect.
Hi Marcella! Is this part of a course or is it a stand alone quiz? If it's part of a course could you put the instructions, etc on the slide before the quiz and get the result you are looking for? Just a thought in case that's an option.
