"Previous" button on the first slide of a presentation

Apr 17, 2014

How can I remove the "Prev" button on the first slide of a presentation? It does not make sense to have it, if there is no previous slide. The same with the "Next" button on the last slide. I understand that in the Player Properties there is the choice between "Submit" or "Prev"/"Next", but always for the whole range of slides only.

Thanks.

I'm looking for the same thing. The tutorial from Leslie IS super-helpful... but only if you are embedding the QuizMaker file inside a Presenter file.

Any suggestions for when the Quizmaker file is a stand-alone entity? Within Quizmaker, I'm not finding anywhere to remove the Prev button from the first slide. Is it possible?

Thanks!

Hi Angie!

If you have the Quiz set up to Submit all at once, you will see these buttons. You can change the quiz to submit one at a time if you'd like.

Another alternative is to check out this creative solution shared in this thread

Still doesn't work Leslie. I have come to accept that QuizMaker 13 is extremely limited by itself. You need the entire software suite to come close to what you need. I wish that was explained a lot earlier on before making the choice for Articulate.

IMHO, Quizmaker 13 is a waste of time. It is not very intuitive, for example, why would you have a PREV button on your very first question (even in Blank Slide)

If you create a Freeform, you have a submit button avaialble, EVEN if you're trying to create and establish an instruction page.

UGH - starting to pul out my hair!!
