Print Results not Working in Quizmaker 13 or 9

Jun 04, 2018

Hi,

I need urgent support. For more than a month now, I have been trying to publish a quiz in our Sharepoint site that will generate certificates at the end. I have created quizzed and publish the LMS package using Quizmaker 13 but the Print Results button is not working. When you click on it, nothing happens. I uninstalled my 13 and installed 9, now the problem is that the quiz only launches in IE 11, not in Chrome, and I can go as far as the print results page with only the word date/time into it. I am not a technical person and I badly needed help as this already took too much of my team's time figuring out what to do.

What we want is to have the quiz uploaded in Sharepoint and have a Results page/Certificate to be printed/save. That's all. I badly need help on this and would really appreciate if you reach out to me.

Thank you!

Hi Carsten.  Gosh, it sounds like you're feeling a lot of pressure on this one.  I'll give you as much support as I can!

First, here are some reasons why Print Results might not work.  In your case, there might be a network restriction in place on the SharePoint side that isn't allowing this feature to work.  It sounds like you've worked pretty hard with your team already on this issue.  Could you confirm with your SharePoint administrator if it is expected that your Quizmaker course could open another tab in the browser (report.html) to show the Print Results page?

Also, in Studio '13, Print Results will work only in a browser that has Flash Player enabled.  That detail may contribute to the Chrome issue -- Chrome might be disabling Flash by default.  Try enabling Flash Player in your version of Chrome and see if that helps launching the course.

I hope that gives you a little direction.  Good luck!!

Hi,

For Quizmaker 13 - we have he Flash Player enabled and still not showing any Print results page. after entering name, nothing is happening.

For Quizmaker 9 - I am able to reach the date/time page, but only works in IE.

I need help (does not matter what version anymore) for me to to have a quiz that will be able to generate a certificate/at least a print results page.

Thanks!

Hi Carsten,

Are you testing Quizmaker '13 and Quizmaker '09 in the same browsers? Also, for your Quizmaker '13 file do you know if you're viewing the Flash or HTML5 output? Although you may have it enabled, it could still be defaulting to HTML5. Take a look at the end of the URL to see if it's showing quiz.html or quiz_html5.html.

Also, where are you hosting these to test the print results? You may want to try hosting your web-published content by uploading to Tempshare or for LMS content use SCORM Cloud.
