I am trying to create a question in Quizmaker 2013 using the Matching Drop Down question but cant get the quiz to just show Part A or Part B in the drop down menu, it keeps repeating A’s and B’s in the drop down menu.
I'm having the same problem at the moment. I have 7 scenarios and for each scenario, the student must indicate whether it is passive, passive-aggressive, assertive, or aggressive behaviour. In the form view, I have to indicate which scenario is which type of communication but in the preview, the options in the dropdown menu show repeats of the options. In other words, I have 7 options (some of which are repeated) when I only want four.
You are seeing this behavior because the matching drop down question type requires a 1:1 matching. It may look like some are repeated, but the reality is that the user will not get it 'correct' unless they choose the exact one that you matched it up with in form view. Impossible.
Perhaps a drag and drop would work better for you in this scenario.

Hi Julia and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
I'm not sure that I'm following what you are asking about.
When you are working in 'Form View', the items that you create in the right-hand column become your drop-down choices.
Would you be able to share a screenshot or upload your .quiz file for me to have a look at?
