Published Quiz stopped working... in some cases

Feb 26, 2013

Hello,

I have an e-learning module published on a LMS and it has been there for sometime without any issues.  The quiz (a few slides in) has suddenly started to freeze up for people.  I have been unable to replicate the problem myself (I've had a few other people try as well).  When we try to replicate it we go in and register on the LMS and launch it the same way the people who are having the problems are launching it.

We're all using the same internet browser.  Any suggestions?

Hi Dayna!

Which LMS are you using? Would you mind testing your course in SCORM Cloud to help us determine if the issue is Articulate-related or if it's on your LMS's side? If it appears in SCORM Cloud as well, we'd be happy to take a closer look at what might be going on. If you can't replicate the issue in SCORM Cloud, it's probably an issue that you'd want to take to your LMS team. The articles here and here may also help clear up common LMS issues.

Thanks!

Hi Peter,

I had passed this issue onto a colleague and it was never resolved (she's now on Maternity Leave).  I just got a call from another individual who is having the same problem.  We are using LearnNet/LearnFlex by Opritel.  I tried it in SCORM cloud and it worked fine.  So you think it may be an LMS issue?  Even though it is working fine for most everyone else in the organization?  I keep wondering if it is an issue with their computers.  A browser or flash issue maybe?  This individual has downloaded the latest version of flash and is runner Internet Explorer 8.  If you are thinking LMS issue, any thoughts on something specific?

Sorry for the trouble, Dayna.

Yeah, if everything works fine in SCORM Cloud, it certainly points to an issue with your particular LMS.

One thing that may help your LMS team isolate the issue, is to create a debug log for them. By default, content published with Articulate software has the LMS debug disabled. You can enable the debug log by following the steps outlined here

Hope that helps, Dayna Let us know...
