Pulling Questions From a Pool

Hello,
I have a 5 module course. At the end of the course is a 30 question quiz. I have a number of questions from each Module that need to be included in the question bank. For example, module one has a bank of 8 whereas module 2 has a bank of 23 questions.
Is there a way I can set up the quiz to pull questions from EACH module bank instead of just a random pull from my 100+ question bank? By pulling from the 100 question bank randomly, it is possible that they would only see a couple from one module and a boat load from another. I need a balanced approach.
Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Dave

Hi Dave,
Unlike Quizmaker, we are not able to do question groups in a quiz in Storyline, but we can still get the same effect by using multiple question banks. So in your case, create a new Question Bank (eg Final Module One, Final Module Two, etc.). Then create a "Draw From Question Bank" slide for each and place them back to back. The learner will not notice any sort of transition except in the menu which of course you can hide. Finally at the end you can add a single results slide to tally the total score.
I am using Quizmaker and not Storyline......are you referring to a solution for Storyline? #confused
Thanks,
Dave
Even better. All you have to do is create question groups for each module in quizmaker.
And then randomize from there?
Thanks for the help!

Yep that is it.
Awesome....I will have a play. Thanks Charles....+1 for you mate!

Can I tell the system how many from each group to pull from?
For example...I am going to import questions from 5 quizzes to make my 'final exam'. This will have a total of 100 quesitons in the pool. Can I tell the system to pull 10 questions from here, 5 from there 15 from there, etc....?
Thanks!
Dave
Yep. Once you get your questions into groups, select a group and 1. Randomize the group then 2. Include the number of questions you want the user to attempt.
