Our global office provided PPT and QM/Engage files us to translate them.
When open the PPT to edit QM, "This file is created in an older version of Presenter. Do you want to conver it to new version?" message is shown. After choosing "OK" , then,edit and save QM, I can never open QM file from the PPT. The error message "Presenter was unable to open the project file" is shown.
The first error indicates that you may be using different versions of the software. Do you know if the global office you are referring to is utilizing Studio '09 or Studio '13. If you convert to a new version and they are utilizing '09, then the project file that you send back to them will be unusable.
As far as the errors that you are seeing, it sounds as if your ribbon may not be activated correctly. You can check out this helpful document for how to correct this.
If Articulate Studio '13 isn't working properly, a simple repair may fix the problem.
