Quiz answer option not showing up

Of course this waits until 4:00 on Friday to happen 
I've been working on a course with a short scenario question created in Quizmaker. Suddenly, when I publish, one of the three options isn't showing up. It's a free-form "pick one" question. The answers are set as three speech bubbles, which appear about 3/4 of the way through the slide narration. When I preview in Quizmaker, they all show up. When I preview within Presenter, one is always missing. When I publish and view on Google Drive, the same one is always missing.
Any ideas what might be going on?

Hi Laura!
First of all, be sure that your presentation and quiz are located on your local hard drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB (external) drive can cause erratic behavior, including loss of resources.
Are you working with Studio '09 or Studio '13?

I am working locally, everything is right on the hard drive.
I'm using '13.

I should add - I submitted a ticket for another issue yesterday and added a link to this post, so I'm not sure if they will be able to help me with both problems.
