Hey Leslie, how can I get the timer to only start after the blank slide? I plan to use the blank slide as a intro, but it was always treated as a question that consumes allocated quiz time. Thanks.
I wanted to confirm that you're also using Quizmaker and check what version - this discussion is a bit older, so I wanted to confirm I'd point you in the right direction.
hey Ashley, thank you for the prompt reply. I use Quizmaker 2013. I actually was able to go around it after posting my question by making a 3 slides Articulate training module, with the first one as opener, last one as closing remark, and the middle one a built-in Quizmaker sub-module. So far it does what I needed to do, but it would be nice if this can be done with Quizmaker alone. :-)

Hi Nicos and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
I do believe that a blank slide is what you are looking for. Check out this tutorial for further information.
thanks a lot, I knew the answer would be obvious, but still could not find it myself!
No problem Nicos! Glad to help

Thanks, Song for that update! I'm glad that method will work for you.
Within Quizmaker the timer assumes it's for the full quiz, so using it in Presenter allows you to have that initial starting slide.
It will be a nice feature if Quizmaker can allow that un-timed quiz intro. Maybe for future development?
Have a great one Ashley. :)
