Quiz processing error on LMS

Mar 14, 2013

I wonder if anyone can help?  I am getting the attached error from a quiz I have created.  I do not understand why this is happening, the e-learning has been published like other e-learning courses which work fine.  I have gone in and recreated the questions, this has not helped.

I have taken the file off my shared drive to my C drive to see if this helps when being published but to no avail.

Does anyone have any tips?  This is our new system which is going live very shortly and I need everything working.

I can not attach the quiz file as I do not have this on me but can do if this would help tomorrow morning.

Take Care

Clare

Hi Clare,

Thanks very much for the file. I've published and uploaded this course for testing, but it looks like it's running fine on my end. However, I'm not sure exactly when you're seeing this error when viewing the quiz.

Can you take a look at my uploaded version of the file and tell me if you run into the same problem, please?

You can view the course using the link below:

If you don't experience the same problem, it may be an issue with the LMS. The articles here and here may also help clear up common LMS issues.

Would you mind testing your course in SCORM Cloud to help us determine if the issue is Articulate related or if it's on your LMS's side? If it appears in SCORM Cloud as well, we'd be happy to take a closer look at what might be going on. If you can't replicate the issue in SCORM Cloud, it's probably an issue that you'd want to take to your LMS team.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!

Christine

I have encountered what seems like the same issue as Clare had.

I published the course from Articulate to the LMS and tested it once. It was fine- including the "Review Quiz" function at the end.

Then, I changed the size and browser settings to that course and now am getting a processing error after the quiz is taken and when I click on "review quiz" or "retake quiz" or "continue".  (see the exact wording of the processing error below).

Then, I followed the advice from this page and unchecked "Launch player in new window" and re-published  and am getting the same Processing Error.

Any advice?

Please help! Thanks!

Hi Leslie,

Have you had a chance to test the course in SCORM Cloud using the steps I posed earlier? If you see the same thing in SCORM Cloud, we'd be happy to take a look and see what's happening.

You'll be able to attach the .QUIZ file on the second page of the following form:

Articulate Support - Submit a Support Case

Please be sure to include a description of your issue. Please also include the URL for this thread in the form. Also, please share the case number with me. You're welcome to do so here, or in a private message. This way I can follow the progress of the case and update this thread.

If you try this out in SCORM Cloud and you don't see the same thing, it may be best to contact your LMS support team.

Thanks!
