Quiz Review Stuck in Continuous Loop
Sep 01, 2016
I created a quiz from scratch with 27 questions that are located in a question bank. I have the quiz set up to not allow retry. I am having issues with reviewing the quiz after failure, which causes the review to be stuck in a continuous loop. The learner cannot return to the results page. Here are the steps I followed:
- I failed the quiz the first time, clicked on "Review Quiz" and it goes into a continuous loop that you cannot exit unless you click on the "x" in the upper right corner. If you exit this way, then click on "Resume" to return to the quiz.
- Do not click on "yes" on the bookmark, otherwise, if you do then you are back in that continuous loop. You have to click on "no". You can then retake the quiz, fail it and the "resume" disappears (note: it takes the resume button several seconds to disappear. If you click on it before it disappears, you can take the quiz again).
For proprietary reasons, I cannot share the content on here.
I have re-built this quiz several times and even switched over to Storyline 2 and I am having the same issue.
Please help :(
Thanks!
Mike

Hi Mike,
It's difficult to know without seeing it, so if you're unable to share it here publicly can you share it with our team of Support Engineers privately? You can upload it here and they'll be able to take a look at what you've got set up.
Hi Ashley,
I am a new employee and need to find out the process for requesting
permission to share proprietary information with an external party.
At this point we believe the issue is LMS-related.
Thanks,
Mike
Hi Mike,
I certainly understand and if you need to share privately, our Support Engineers are able to sign an NDA.
You mentioned thinking it was LMS specific, and a great way to narrow down that thought is to look at testing the course in another LMS environment such as the SCORM Cloud environment. Its an industry standard for LMS testing and you can follow along with the steps here to properly test it.
Also, just an FYI that responding via email includes your signature here in the forum post. You are welcome to edit the post to remove that information as well.
Thank you for the updated info Ashley.
I did test the file in SCORM cloud and everything worked just fine.
Great news Mike - now that'll be the indicator to reach out to your LMS team and ask if they have any other ideas. You could share with them the test you finished in SCORM Cloud as well.
