Quiz Title Showing up once Published to presentation

Jan 14, 2014

I am working in Articulate Studio 13. I created a quiz in Quizmaker and when previewing I can see the quiz title. However, when I publish the quiz to my presentation I am unable to see the quiz title. It replaces the quiz title when I view the quiz with the name of the presentation file. Has anyone had this to happen, and if so, what is the solution to make the quiz name show once viewing in the presentation and once published? This is the first time this has happened. I've deleted the quizzes and recreated them several times, but I still get the title of the presentation file instead of the title of the quiz when previewing. Thanks

Hi Gloria and welcome to the community!

One of the big new features in Studio '13 is its unified player. There's no longer a player-inside-a-player like we had in previous versions. So a quiz title that you see in Quizmaker '13 along the top, won't show when it's inserted into a Presenter presentation.

Now, the title should show up in the menu, however, along with the question list if it's enabled.

For standalone Articulate Quizmaker quizzes, you can choose to display the question list on the quiz player. However, when you embed a quiz in an Articulate Presenter course, the question list appears in the course menu along with the other slides in the course.

See this article for details:

Question List Doesn't Show When a Quiz Is Embedded in Articulate Presenter

If you're not seeing that list in the menu, please let me know.

Thanks!

Thanks Christine, now I have another issue. I created a course in Studio 09 last year, but my manager has just had a chance to review and approve. Since I used some learning games and other engaging activities that are not included in Studio 13, I'm unable to open those areas of the course. Is there a way to still use this course and transfer the activities into Studio 13? Thanks so much.
