When I create a quiz in Quizmaker, the Quiz doesn't pop in the PPT slide. It saves to my folder and I have to import the quiz into my PPT deck. Why won't the quiz show directly in PPT after it is created?
Can you tell me the process you used to create the quiz? Did you create the new quiz through Presenter using Articulate > Quizmaker Quiz > Insert New and then select Save & Return to Presenter? Or did you create it using the standalone Quizmaker program? Thanks for any more detail you can provide!
Yes, I follow have followed those steps. I can create the quiz, but then when I click Save and Return to Presenter, the Quiz doesn't show in Presenter. I have to import the quiz into Presenter. Does it have to do with a Plug ins? I currently have Office 2007, and when I was working in PPT, an error message popped up about disabling a plug in. I clicked yes to disable, and ever since then, the quizzes created in Quizmaker do not appear in Presenter.
Thanks for confirming It sounds like the Articulate Presenter Communicator add-in is disabled in PowerPoint. Please follow the instructions in this article to ensure that your Articulate add-ins are properly enabled in PowerPoint:
Even though the quiz placeholder slide was not generated when you initially created the quiz, the quiz file itself will still be generated in the same folder where your PowerPoint file is stored. Therefore, after enabling your Articulate add-ins in PowerPoint, you can add the quiz file to your presentation in this manner:
Go to Articulate > Quizmaker Quiz.
Then click the Add Existing button.
Browse to the folder where you PowerPoint file is stored, and locate the quiz file that you previously created.
Select the quiz file, and click the Open button to insert it into your presentation.
Click the Close button to exit the Quizzes and Interactions dialog.
