We are presently using Saba 6.0 and Quizmaker 09. Lately, we've had user contact us stating they get a blank page. In the past the problem was related to Flash player not being updated but according to our CHD their computers have been updated. Do you have any ideas as to what might be causing this.
Do you know what browsers they were using? I know certain browsers such as Chrome have started to block Flash as a default, and since Quizmaker 09 didn't include HTML5 output that could cause issues with it not running as expected.
Have they tried reloading the page or using any other browsers to view the content? Also, is it only some users who are running into this issue?
If it's not every user, I'd also see if they've got any particular settings in their IE11 browser that could be causing this. IE11 can also have Flash disabled, and again it would produce issues with course playback. Are you able to see the same issue yourself? I'd be happy to give it a test on my IE11 browser too if you want to share a link to the course!
That is the problem, we have over 40 000 users and it is random and across the country. Unfortunately, it doesn't affect any users in our office. I will have them see if Flash has been disabled. Also, our courses are protected and our LMS requires a single sign on which makes sharing imposible.
Ahh, that's definitely trickier than - but if it's only a group of users, my guess is going to be the browser Flash or something with their network connection. If it's slow, it could be timing out on the course load and then just display that blank page. Have they been able to try a refresh to see if that brings it back up for them?
