I have embedded a Quizmaker 09 quiz into Moodle using the quiz.html file and I cannot get the Print button to result in the certificate popping up in IE 9. It requests you to type in your name and then nothing happens when I click OK.
I thought it might be a blocked pop up but I have checked my browser security and privacy settings so I do not think it is this? Although it could be a strange setting that is not obvious to me. It is working fine in IE 8, Firefox, Chrome and Opera.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue with IE9. However, there are a few things we can try to resolve this problem. You were right in checking your pop-up blocker settings, this is usually the most common fix.
Since the pop-up blocker is not the issue, lets look at a few other things.
1) Make sure you are using the most recent release of Flash player for this version of Internet Explorer. To check your version, please go to this site.
2) Try clearing your cache. You can do this in Internet Explorer by going to
Tools -> Internet Options -> General -> Temporary Internet Files and select Delete Cookies and Delete Files.
3) Under the Security tab, click on the Internet, Local intranet, Trusted Sites, and Restricted Sites and select Default level for each.
4) Under the Privacy tab make sure that is set to the Default level.
5) Under Advanced click Restore advanced settings and click OK.
6) Restart the web browser.
Let me know if you continue to experience the issue. Thanks!
