I'm inserting a Quiz into Presenter. If the user fails the quiz (below 80%) they are required to retake the quiz.
I have set the questions to "unlimited tries", I can't find how or where to set the quiz for multiple attempts, nor can I find where or how to insert a "retry button".
When I test the quiz (and purposly fail), I have set the finish button to take me back to the presentation but the quiz does not reset. I've set the never resume setting...
As you can see, I'm new at this and self-teaching, so please, add some detail to any given suggestions.

If I've understood your situation correctly, it seems like you've set the individual question attempts to unlimited when what you really wanted to do was to set the number of quiz attempts to unlimited. This can be a confusing concept to grasp, so I'll try to explain it clearly.
Question attempts: The number of times a learner is allowed to retry a given question before they can move on to the next. If you set this number to unlimited the learner will not be able to advance to the next question until they get the correct answer. You can define this setting for each question individually in Quizmaker. See this article for more information.
Quiz attempts: The number of times the learner is allowed to retry the entire quiz. This setting is applied to each quiz in the Quiz Properties window once you insert your quiz into Presenter. See this article for more information.
