Is it possible to modify the printed results page (print results) in Quizmaker 360? We prefer the print option to NOT display the questions and answers, only the results.
If you mark the box to Allow user to review quiz, learners will see question/answer details in the printed results. If you de-select that options, printed results will only show pass/fail information.
One other issue. If we DO NOT select "Allow user to finish without answering all questions". Quizmaker does allow the user to submit all WITHOUT answering all the questions.
It looks like you encountered two different roadblocks here:
Users were able to click "submit all answers" without first answering every question, even though that setting was not enabled.
Users were unable to print the results page in HTML5 after de-selecting "Allow user to review quiz".
I created a quick sample quiz to test both of these problems, and I didn't run into either of them in my testing. Could you test this link and let me know if you see the same problems there?
I saw the same problem in my own testing. It appears that there is a bug in Quizmaker 360 where the print results page will appear blank if you published the quiz for CD.
I've shared all of this with my team so we can begin looking at next steps for a fix. As soon as I have more information on this, I'll let you know!
Thanks for the verification of the bug when published to CD!
One other issue...BEFORE the user attempts a question, he or she can click on "Submit All" and Quizmaker allows the user to submit for scoring even If the "Allow user to finish without answering all questions" is NOT selected.
This only happens if the user does not attempt to answer a question.
Can you share a copy of your .quiz file that demonstrated this Submit all function? I saw you mentioned Alyssa's was working normal for you, so it may be something as simple as a slide setting throwing this off!
I'd love to take a look - click here and use the Add Attachment button to upload it for us.
The with the same quiz: When I launch the assessment with Launch_Quiz.exe the results page (print) is blank. If I launch the assessment from either HTML files, the results are displayed (print).
I think Leslie was talking about the Submit all behavior with that file, as Alyssa shared earlier there is a bug with publish to CD and printing.
I tested your .quiz file by publishing to CD and uploading to Review here and in both instances it allowed me to submit before answering. Clearly a big difference between your file and Alyssa's example is the amount of questions, the question banks, and the randomizing...so I'm trying to narrow that down further.
I'm going to test your file a bit more, as it doesn't seem to happen in a new file...but I wanted to at least let you know where I was at so far.
I also found that if the user responds to at least one question (when the instructions slide is in the assessment file), the "Submit All" button functions correctly (does not allow user to score without answering all the questions).
We have also discovered that the user can click thru all the questions (NEXT Button) without answering a single question. The "Submit All" dialog box pops up on the last question and allows the user to submit all without answering a single question.
Uh oh, Joel! You've stumbled upon all these caveats with using that feature. I'm sorry you're stuck again but I'll let the team know you found another piece to take a look at.
We'll let you know here if we have any updates to share.
The latest version of Quizmaker 360 is now producing incorrect scores (see attached).
Also, if the user clicks on the "PREV" button, the assessment freezes up (spinning wheel).
We still have the problem (submit all button does not function correctly) when using a blank slide (instructions page). Problem goes away when the blank slide is deleted.
I saw the same thing you mentioned, it all seems to be tied back to the "Submit all" functionality. 😕 I shared this example with the team and connected it with your other issues, as it's all connected to that one feature not working.
Hey Joel! I wanted to circle back to the bug in Quizmaker 360 where the print results page will appear blank if you published the quiz for CD -- that should be fixed now!
Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for each application. Details here.

Alyssa,
When published in HMTL 5 Only, the print results screen is blank (no results at all) after de-selecting "Allow user to review quiz".

Alyssa,
The sample quiz functioned correctly. I was NOT able to submit without answering all the questions and I was able to print the score results only.
However, when I publish the sample assessment for CD, the print results are a blank white screen (blocked).
Attached is a screen capture of situation.

Hi Joel,
Hmm, I took a look a the file Alyssa shared above, published to CD and did not experience an issue.
Take a look and see how that works for you.
Leslie,
The with the same quiz: When I launch the assessment with Launch_Quiz.exe the results page (print) is blank. If I launch the assessment from either HTML files, the results are displayed (print).
Ashley,
I have attached the file that allow the user to submit all before answering any questions.

Ashley,
I may have found the one item that is causing the "Submit All" button to malfunction.
We use an "Instructions" page. If the instructions page is deleted, the submit all button functions correctly!
Ah, that could be it, Joel! What number slide is that in your course? Is it set up as a question or a blank slide?
Ashley,
The "Instructions" slide is the first slide and is a blank slide. See attached.
Good find Joel. I'm seeing the same behavior in the last file that you shared.
I'm going to share this with my team so that we can take a closer look.
Leslie,

Good to know, Joel. I'll add that to our report. We'll keep you posted on any new developments!

Ashley,
Any updates for the issue pertaining to the "Submit All" button not functioning correctly when using an instructions slide?
