quizmaker data stored

Jun 20, 2014

I need to interpret the data stored by the LMS for quizmaker so i can view the answers given by the end user without having to access the SCORM.

Thank

Hello again, Davide.

Since we send all of the learners' answers to the LMS, I'm having trouble understanding why you are unable to pull those answers back out of the LMS database and report upon them.

If I upload a sample course to SCORM Cloud (an industry-standard tool for testing SCORM output) and take the course, here's an example of what SCORM Cloud is able to produce from the learner's responses.

Hello Justin,

My situation is the following: we manage the platform; The students perform the course and the test created with quiz maker; closing of the course we provide the answers given by individual students to the professor.

Quizmaker has the ability to send the test e-mail but requires the input of parameters by the student (it may be optimal if the sending of e-mail was silent with the parameters already preset)

Thank and great day.

Good Afternoon, Davide.

It sounds like you are saying that the course author chose to use the Email Results feature in Quizmaker '09, rather than publishing for LMS and allowing the quiz data to flow to the LMS.  Please let me know if I have misunderstood or misstated this.

Not only was the Email Results feature removed from Quizmaker '13 due to its inherent unreliability and insecurity, but publishing for Web instead of LMS is a sure-fire way to ensure that no quiz data whatsoever is sent to the LMS.

As for a "silent email results" option, I would encourage you to take a look at this unsupported method within our Legacy Forums.

Please let us know if you need anything else, and have a great day!

Good Morning, Davide.

I need to reiterate that the ability to report upon detailed learner responses is a function of the Learning Management System and not the authoring tool.

Quizmaker sends this data to every LMS, and it is up to the LMS to determine how to present that data back to you for reporting purposes.

If you'd like to watch Quizmaker successfully sending data to an LMS, I would recommend the following:

  1. Test your content in SCORM Cloud, which is an industry-standard tool for testing SCORM output.
  2. Enable LMS Debug Mode and examine the resulting LMS Debug Log.
