Hello. My Quizmaker has stopped working correctly when embedding quizzes into Presenter 13. The edit quiz and edit properties buttons are not showing. I have attached an image of the screen that presents now when I embed or create new quizzes in Presenter 13. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to resolve it?
I tried all of the recommendations given in the "repair" document that Leslie linked to. Nothing worked. In response to a ticket, Support indicated the problem is due to the versions of PowerPoint and Skype (Lync) not being the same on my PC. This article was referenced for details.
Yes, even though this case was created sometime ago, it is the same issue. It is not easy to resolve because I need to either get a newer version of Microsoft office or go back to an older version of Skype. This would mean that I'm out of sync with the rest of my organization. It seems I will need to work around not having the buttons and properties information on the quiz placeholder slides.
Thanks, Karen. I found the case you worked on with Ryan also where he confirmed that and shared that article. I'm sorry that it leaves you in a bit of a pickle between versions your colleagues are using or losing functionality in Presenter/Quizmaker.
Would your IT team be able to provide you an update to Office? At least that way you'd be able to open files your colleagues shared and not lose any other functionality from Presenter or Skype. Office programs are typically good at having cross-compatibility between versions too, so I wouldn't expect any issues between you and your coworkers.

I'm not seeing a screen attached here, but it sounds like your buttons are not working correctly and I would advise a repair of your software.
